Their setlist is made up of many of the finest songs from the Danny Bedrosian debut album of the same name in energetic, groove-infused, live arrangement's. | DANNY BEDROSIAN & SOM'N FIERCE resurfaced on a bill alongside Unfunkwittable and Kendra Foster @ Yianni's in Tallahassee, FL for the start of the school year in the bustling college town of Tallahassee, FL on August 24th. The triple bill/triple threat proved to tear the house down with three amazingly diverse sets, ranging from the funk-metal of Unfunkwittable, to the jazz balladeering of Kendra Foster, to the Funk/Soul conglomerate of Danny's revamped SOM'N FIERCE: the band was: Danny Bedrosian - Keyboards & Lead Vocals, Bandleader Seth Ceders - Drums & Percussion Mike Maloney - Guitar & Backup Vocals Teresa Jimenez - Lead & Backup Vocals Marc Munoz - Guitar & Backup Vocals Ral - Bass Guitar Kendra Foster guested on her trademark, jazz inflected vocals; Dwayne Dungey played bass on her set; Jamie Freeman played bass on the Unfunkwittable set when Dwayne Dungey sang lead. Otherwise the band stayed the same all night and tore it up with renditions of songs from Danny Bedrosian's catalogue, ending the night with a raucous rendition of Funkadelic's Hit it & Quit it, featuring guest players. A great time was had by all, and all involved anxiously await the next Som'n Fierce outing on October 12th. |
